Committed to Transforming Crises into Opportunities.
			Message from the Rector
It is with great honor and deep responsibility that I welcome you to the African College of Crisis Management and Peacebuilding (ACCMP). As The Rector of this pioneering institution, I am humbled by the opportunity to serve Africa and the global community through the promotion of peace, stability, and resilience. ACCMP was founded on the belief that Africa’s challenges—whether social, political, economic, or humanitarian—can be transformed into opportunities through knowledge, innovation, and collective action. Our college is more than an academic hub; it is a center for training, research, advocacy, and practical solutions to the pressing issues of conflict, crises, and peacebuilding in our communities.
Leadership Philosophy
My vision as Rector is to lead ACCMP with integrity, inclusivity, and impact. We are committed to building a community of peacebuilders who embody excellence, nonviolence, diversity, collaboration, and innovation. We believe that peace is not just the absence of conflict, but the presence of justice, dignity, and opportunity for all.I am dedicated to ensuring that ACCMP remains a place where learners, practitioners, and leaders from across Africa and beyond find the knowledge, skills, and networks they need to become catalysts for peace and sustainable development.
Our Commitment
Under my leadership, ACCMP will:
1. Advance high-quality professional training and certifications that empower individuals to respond to crises with competence and compassion.
2. Promote research and policy engagement that influence decision-making at local, national, and regional levels.
3. Foster partnerships and collaborations with governments, NGOs, academia, and international institutions to broaden the impact of our work.
4. Support community engagement and advocacy, ensuring that peacebuilding is inclusive and responsive to the realities of grassroots communities.
Prepare future leaders to think critically, act ethically, and serve humanity with courage.
Call to Learners and Partners
I warmly invite learners, researchers, professionals, and organizations to join us at ACCMP. Together, we can equip Africa and the world with the knowledge, values, and strategies needed to manage crises and build sustainable peace. ACCMP is not just an institution—it is a movement of hope, resilience, and transformation. I encourage you to explore our programs, engage with our community, and take part in shaping a peaceful future for generations to come.
Signed,
Dr. Abdulwaheed Y. Odewale, FICRPC, FCBA, D.Peace, FICSP
