To advance peace and stability across Africa by providing world-class education, professional training, and research in crisis management, conflict resolution, and peacebuilding with a commitment to developing ethical leaders, practitioners, and scholars equipped to prevent conflict, respond to crisis, and promote reconciliation and social cohesion across diverse societies.
The African College of Crisis Management and Peacebuilding (ACCMP) exists to equip Africa with the knowledge, skills, and leadership it needs to effectively manage crises, resolve conflicts, and build lasting peace.
Our mission is rooted in the belief that peace is possible, crises can be managed, and Africa can rise above its challenges when people are empowered with the right education, training, and tools for transformation.
1. Delivering Quality Education & Professional Training
ACCMP is committed to offering globally relevant and contextually African-focused academic programs, professional certifications, and short courses. Our mission is to produce competent practitioners, leaders, and innovators who can respond to today’s challenges and anticipate tomorrow’s crises.
2. Promoting Peace & Conflict Resolution Skills
We aim to instill practical peacebuilding and mediation skills in individuals, communities, and institutions — ensuring that disputes are resolved constructively, and violence is replaced with dialogue, cooperation, and justice.
3. Supporting Humanitarian & Emergency Response
Our mission extends to saving lives and protecting communities during disasters, emergencies, and humanitarian crises by training professionals and collaborating with relevant agencies to strengthen Africa’s resilience.

ACCMP is committed to conducting high-impact research that provides evidence-based solutions for policymakers, governments, and organizations. Our mission is to serve as a thought leader in shaping effective policies for crisis management and peacebuilding across Africa.

Beyond classrooms and training halls, our mission includes engaging local communities, advocating for peace, empowering vulnerable groups, and amplifying voices that are often unheard in peace processes.
